AH 1W Super Cobra helicopter and the crash of the plane of the Coast Guard. U. S. Coast Guard and Navy to search for survivors after the collision between the Coast Guard plane and helicopter, Marine Corps, officials said Friday. The Coast Guard spokesman Petty Officer Allyson Conroy said the accident was reported at about one thousand out of 50 coastal Southern California Thursday night, where the trash was sighted from the crash site.

Rescuers are continuing to search for the seven people on board the C-130 plane, and the two aboard the helicopter. Military officials confirmed the AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter was on a training mission when it went down. The Navy and Coast Guard have dispatched multiple vessels and helicopters to the area. The Coast Guard said it will continue the search throughout the night.
