New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, announced late Wednesday that the city hosting the World Championship series Ticker New York Yankees Show on Friday at 11 am Parade begins Broadway and place the battery, travel to the Canyon of Heroes Chambers Street, and will be in the City Hall Plaza ceremony, where Bloomberg presented with keys to the city team.


“Congratulations to the Yankees for bringing the world championship back home to New York City, where it belongs,” the mayor said. “What’s sweeter than a World Series won at home? The only thing that comes close is a ticker-tape parade up the Canyon of Heroes, and that’s exactly what New Yorkers will get on Friday.

For the "Core Four" by Derek Jeter, Mariano Rivera, Jorge Posada and Andy Pettitte will be his first trip through the confetti from 2000, led the Bombers the Mets in the Subway Series. "It feels better than I can remember," Jeter said after the Yankees won their 27th World Series title. "It's been a long time." Mayor Office warned fans that there are tickets to the parade route itself or floats, and is open to the public.
