Security Janzen Jackson and receiver Nu'Keese Richardson, Lane Kiffin two signees from the most valuable recruit first class, was among the three Tennessee football players arrested Saturday morning in Knoxville indicted for attempted armed robbery.The third player also arrested a student, defensive Mike Edwards back. Is not clear whether the players will have a lawyer.

According to a Knoxville City Police report, the arrests stemmed from an attempted robbery outside a convenience store near campus. A powered pellet gun was recovered in the players' car after they were stopped by police near the Gibbs Hall dormitory on campus, where the Vols' freshman football players live.

"We are currently evaluating an event occurring conditions, including Mike Edwards, and Janzen Jackson Nu'Keese Richardson," Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton said: has prepared a statement. "Any decision or comment about the situation will not be finished are to evaluate."
