SAU is now 1-2 in exhibition games against opponents under coach Tim Moser, knocking on the extension of the state of Washington in November 2007, losing 60-49 and New Mexico last year and Seawolves begin the regular season in a week when hosting the first of two games against Hawaii, Hilo, Sunday, November 15th at 5 in the Wells Fargo Sports Complex.

The Seawolves, ranked No. 8 in the Division II preseason poll, were led by nine points from senior guard Tamar Gruwell, who did all of her scoring in the first half. Gruwell finished 3-of-6 from three-point range, while senior forward Nicci Miller tallied six points and six rebounds.

Holy Land trip to college basketball has become a rough ride on basketball Alaska Anchorage Seawolves women's soccer team Sunday as the exhibition was a 100-32 decision to Duke in Cameron Indoor Stadium. and junior guard Nikki Aden had five points, two assists and no turnover in 24 minutes.
